The Picentia Short Film Festival is one of the main international short film festivals in Campania (province of Salerno), organized by the Independent Film Production Association ACT Production , a young production made up of young filmmakers between 18 and 27 years of age who in the last two years he reached the finals and / or official selections of some of the main international short film festivals. PSFF had the patronage of the Giffoni Film Festival - Giffoni Experience, AIFF - Ariano International Film Festival, Festival 'Corto ea Capo' & Hitch2 Produzioni sas, Teatro Novanta Salerno, Drone Experience Fly Team srl. Patronages by public institutions are those of the Campania Region - Tourism Department, of the Province of Salerno, EPT - Provincial Tourism Authority of Salerno and of the municipalities of the Picentini Mountains.
Artists of international caliber, such as Nunzia Schiano, Ernesto Mahieux, Brando De Sica, Pierfrancesco Favino, Piero Pepe, Ciera Foster, Francesco Apolloni, Leo Gullotta, Miriam Leone, Giorgio Colangeli, Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo with Sophie Chiarello and many others , walked the prestigious red carpet of the PSFF, participating in the competition and winning some prizes.
The festival - in the 2021 edition - will take place from 10 to 12 September in Campania, in Battipaglia (SA), with screenings and activities at the Salotto Comunale at Palazzo di Città in Piazza Aldo Moro.
Our goal is to reward the most deserving filmmakers by giving them a special 'space' where they can enhance their works, also giving them the opportunity to meet the main film producers and artistic directors of the main film festivals in the Campania region. At the same time we want the public to discover and learn more about the extraordinary world of short films, giving them the opportunity to vote and have their favorite shorts rewarded.
